Why do we need them?

Minerals make up about 4% of our body mass.  We don’t produce them, however, so we need to get them through our foods.  Unfortunately we get them through the soil our foods come from and our soil is depleted of most minerals compared to many years ago.  So supplementation is very helpful to ensure we are getting what we need in the amount that we need.

We need minerals for so many body functions such as muscle relaxation and contraction, growth of new tissue, functional support, transferring of nutrients from cell to cell, maintaining a proper ph balance within the body and more.
